Real Eyes? Why We Are Here!

The name of my column here is “Real Eyes” and was taken from a song from the 1990’s group “Machine Head.” While I was never a fan, they had a phrase that intoned, “Real eyes realize real lies.” All you have to do is study the “Fast and Furious” situation and you know you are being fed ‘real lies.’

I don’t profess to be the master politician and my pontifications are just that… my pontifications. I’ve been active in politics since 1968 and saw Grant Park in Chicago a couple weeks before the DNC convention and about a week after and I was shocked at the destruction. I was young but even then I realized (real eyes) that there was no need to destroy a once beautiful park like they did that August weekend.

I began to study politics and started out as sort of a mid level republican, supporting Richard Nixon and as I grew older (and hopefully wiser) my position on the political ideological chart began to gradually swing to the right and now I find myself firmly entrenched as a TEA Party conservative. My beliefs are my own and your mileage may vary. My purpose here is not to argue politics but rather present the political point of view that I find most comfortable for myself.

I haven’t decided just who to support just yet but I’ve narrowed my choices as the weeks have gone by. When it is said and done, my choice will have to pledge to bring this spending madness under control. Cutting anything is not going to easy and no matter what you do, some one will feel you have unfairly gored their ox.

I will begin to post at will and am entertaining the idea of doing my posts as videos which should be good for a giggle. I invite you to send me your videos of important events and happenings around your area. If your group is interested in doing a local show live using our servers and our easy to use live streaming software, by all means contact me. We also can give your group a vocal voice by giving you the ability to do live Internet radio.

About now, everyone is asking the obvious question… “How much?” Easy. Most of the time, the answer is going to be, “Nothing.” Help us advance the cause. If you can advertise something, buy an ad. Just as it sits, this effort is running me about $750 a month and I consider it to be an investment in protecting the future for my two grandsons.
